Windrose Park Antwerp Runs on 100% Wind Power

Vleemo provides Windrose direct access to clean wind energy from existing Port of Antwerp turbines — powering both truck assembly and the adjacent charging infrastructure entirely from wind.

Windrose Park Antwerp — wind-powered assembly facility at the Port of Antwerp

Windrose and Vleemo have agreed a direct energy supply arrangement that gives Windrose Park Antwerp access to clean electricity generated by existing wind turbines operating within the Port of Antwerp. The agreement means that every truck assembled at Windrose Park is built using wind power — with no grid fossil mix and no offset accounting.

Vleemo operates wind turbines on industrial land inside the port perimeter, making them a natural match for Windrose's industrial site along the Noorderlaan. The proximity of generation to consumption removes transmission losses and allows for a direct physical supply relationship rather than a certificate-based claim.

The wind supply covers both Windrose's manufacturing operations and the charging infrastructure adjacent to Windrose Park — meaning trucks assembled at the site can also be charged on wind power before leaving for customer delivery. For fleet operators calculating scope 3 emissions, this makes the Windrose supply chain measurably cleaner at the point of manufacture.

Windrose Park Antwerp is Windrose's European assembly hub, established in partnership with the Port of Antwerp-Bruges. It serves as the primary distribution point for Windrose electric trucks across Europe, with assembled vehicles delivered directly to customers and dealers across the continent.
